In January of 2019, Johanny was appointed to City Council in District 6, Reading, PA, and in November of that same year, she was elected by the people to retain her position as City Councilwoman of District 6, Reading. Johanny has always seen great potential for the City of Reading, PA. As a result, has been an active member of the community, continuing to engage herself and her business in all activities and events that promote the diverse culture, history, and art of the city of Reading and House District 129.
